Face Claim: Cady Groves "She closed her eyes, it was no surprise, that she was lost and far from home."-Katie Costello Your Alias: Call me Poe! :) How long have you been role-playing: About five years. Name: Ariel Carol Lore Age: 17 Gender: Female Sexuality: Heterosexual Relationship Status: Single/Looking! Appearance: She has a petite figure and stands at 5'5". She has deep, expressive brown eyes and when she smiles (which is rare) it lights up her whole face. She changes up her hairstyle a lot but likes to keep her side bangs so she can have something to hide behind when she's feeling too shy or embarrassed. She's always changing up her style because she can't seem to ever find a favorite, so there's not a lot more to describe. Personality: Ariel is shy which causes people to think that she's stuck-up. That isn't the case at all. In fact, Ariel used to be outgoing and friendly, but every time she'd think she'd become friends with someone, they'd act like she didn't exist. She's never had a best friend no matter how hard she tried. So she doesn't give her heart and trust to just anyone, so it's a special thing when she does. She's very kind, trustworthy, and a great listener. She always likes to help people, although she has a hard time solving her own problems. She hates conflict and will do whatever it takes to avoid them. She likes to sing, dance, and act. She can play violin and guitar. She has a wide taste in music. Basically, if she likes it, it doesn't matter what genre it is. She even writes, but never gives herself credit. To make things easier, here is a list of her strengths and weaknesses taken from a website that talks about her personality type: Strengths: • Warmly concerned and caring towards others • Sensitive and perceptive about what others are feeling (Although most of the time she's afraid to say anything because people have rejected her in the past.) • Loyal and committed - wants lifelong relationships • Deep capacity for love and caring (She just hasn't found anyone to show this part of herself yet.) • Driven to meet other's needs (But she's learning to take care of herself first and then help others.) • Strives for "win-win" situations • Nurturing, supportive and encouraging (Again, she's sometimes afraid to do so because people have rejected her help.) • Recognizes and appreciates other's need for space • Able to express herself well (But she does this mostly through writing. But she wants to find some friends who she can feel comfortable enough with to express her thoughts verbally well.) • • Weaknesses: • Doesn't like to have her "space" invaded • Extreme dislike of conflict • Strong need to receive praise and positive affirmation (But when she receives it, she denies it.) • Reacts very emotionally to stressful situations • Has difficulty scolding others and sticking up for herself (Unless someone is being mean to someone she loves or teases her about a project she's working on.) • Reserved about expressing her feelings • Perfectionist • Blames herself for most problems, and holds a lot on her own shoulders She has a music box that has a picture of her old ranch on the top, and when she opens it it has a picture of her and her horses. The song that plays is Lost and Far from Home by Katie Costello. Occupation in the bunkers: 12th Grade-Senior Theme Song(s): Anywhere Place-Katie Costello, Cassette Tape-Katie Costello, Lost and Far from Home-Katie Costello, Fading Lately-Katie Costello (And many more!) Bunker: #1 Condo #: 7 History: She was born and raised on her parents' ranch in Nashville, Tennessee until she was seventeen and her dad got into a car accident. The accident paralyzed him from the waist down so he could no longer herd cattle. The money kept getting shorter from medical bills and no work, so Ariel's mom soon got fed up and had an affair, then divorced her father shortly after and moved to California. Ariel's father sold the ranch a year after the divorce and was able to find a desk job in Florida at an insurance company that allowed him to support Ariel, his new wife, and Ariel's stepbrother. Ariel had been an only child so she had a hard time adjusting to having a step-brother, and she doesn't have a very good relationship with him or his mom. Her relationship with her dad is now strained because Ariel felt as though he got remarried too soon. She was never able to talk about the devastation of selling the ranch and her beloved horses, or her mom's affair and the divorce. She hadn't talked to her mom except for a phone call on the holidays, but her mom's name was on the deed to the bunker so she moved back to Tennessee when she heard someone was making a nuclear bomb. Ariel and her family flew to the bunker shortly after the bomb went off and almost didn't make it. It was a traumatic time for her and she doesn't like to talk about it because it makes her have panic attacks. Her mom and her mom's husband live in bunker #2 and share a condo with another family, so it's been awkward for Ariel. |
